Broken Heart
You cannot mend
a broken heart;
You cannot change
what has been done.
The furthest thing from us
Is what we call the past.
Even the minute before
No one can return to.
The thing we regret the most
Only concerns the past
Of what we say; Of what we do;
Of what we cannot say nor do.
Do a mistake
and regret it forever;
Do a good deed
forget it in a minute.
Betray and be betrayed;
Love and be loved;
Love and don't betray;
Betray then don't dare to love.
Never hurt a person
By mental or by physical.
Do nothing, by any means
To break another's heart.
You cannot mend
a broken heart;
You cannot change
what has been done.
Say nothing if you can't say good;
Do nothing if you can't do good;
Do no one harm,
Break no one's heart.
