Peter Out
Winner August 2005 Contest

My sincere apologies of the ado,
For I might too forget about you,
Our gap is far beyond the reach,
Our distance's far we cannot meet.

That day you said, "I shall go away,"
I broke into pieces, worse than harden clay,
Your letter I waited for every single day,
Although none came, I thought,
"It must be on its way."

From time to time, I shed my tears,
With lonely eyes, perhaps in fear,
The fear that you might have forgotten me,
The fear that drove me to insanity.

A period has passed so as my thoughts,
My memories of you sometimes are nought,
Now I must apologize for all the ado,
Should you forget me, in the end I might too.
